UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE ENROLLMENT

For fall semester 2001-2002 the all-campus undergraduate enrollment is 76,919, or 80 percent of the headcount enrollment of 96,219. Undergraduate enrollment as a percent of total enrollment varies from 97 percent for East campus to 73 percent for IUPUI campus. The percentages reflect stability when compared to 1991 data.

At five campuses, Bloomington, IUPUI, East, Kokomo, and Southeast graduate enrollment has increased from 1991 to 2001, ranging from 1% growth at Bloomington to 211% at Southeast.  At the other three campuses, graduate enrollment has decreased from 6% at Northwest and South Bend to 9% at Fort Wayne.  Graduate Student enrollment for the entire university has increased by 8.6 percent in the past decade.
